Police were contacted about the crimes and received a copy of the child's forensic interview, University City police wrote in court records.
The girl told the interviewer about multiple occurrences of sexual abuse by her piano teacher, Yavitz.
He was arrested, police said, and admitted to the abuse, which happened between October 2024 and June 2025.
