Instead of further enriching themselves by promoting gold Trump mobile phones ("President’s family launches cellphone company, Trump Mobile," June 16 print edition) and opening a Trump Mobile call center in the St. Louis area, the Trump family might consider striking some “deals†to rebuild St. Louis homes destroyed by the recent tornado. Maybe they could even come up with a plan to house our homeless neighbors.
But apparently, their priorities lie elsewhere — like boosting their own fortunes and the economies of places like Qatar and the United Arab Emirates through golf courses, luxury resorts, and towering hotels. Even Vietnam might even see some benefit from their latest real estate ventures.
And if that's not enough to keep them in gold accessories, there's always cryptocurrency, crypto mining, and a few meme coins. And of course, there’s the sale of wine, Bibles, guitars, watches, sneakers and, yes, perfume.
